I am excited to be featuring in FitNet magazine throughout 2020 and will be exploring some of my areas of interest in more depth with each edition. These include mental health, sports massage, injury rehabilitation and women’s health during midlife.
Fitness is so much more than exercise – I firmly believe that fitness encompasses physical, mental and social well-being. Whether I am training or treating a client one-to-one or instructing a group, I aim to address each aspect of their well-being. This helps clients to meet their goals, as striking the right balance is key to success.
I am delighted I can now offer Fitness Pilates, Lift LeanTM and Prime 2020. Fitness Pilates is a group exercise class that focuses on the body as a human kinetic chain. By applying the fundamental Pilates technique and exercises it aims to offset musculoskeletal imbalances, but also improve posture, movement quality, mobility, flexibility, core strength, form and function.
Lift LeanTM is a weights and resistance training class using a variety of training methods and equipment. Its main focus is to increase bone density, mental clarity, cognition and muscle definition. Prime 2020 is a fitness, health and wellness programme for midlife women, so if you are in your 40s or 50s and wish to strengthen your muscles and bones, then this programme is for you.
My classes take place in a number of Hereford locations but they can also be booked at your workplace. Tailored to meet the needs of your staff, they can help with common postural issues such as lower back pain.
Bespoke Personal Training sessions are designed to help you achieve your goals, your way, and can be delivered at your home, in the gym or outdoors. You can train with me one-to-one or in a small group of friends if you prefer, and from the New Year I will be adding The Studio-Hereford to my list of training locations.
Take a look at my website or drop me a message to find out more about the services I offer and let’s see if I can help you achieve your goals your way!
