Beauty School Hereford opened in January 2017, as a branch of Beauty Etiquette Training School, offering a full range of beauty, holistic and nail training. The courses are suitable for those who would like a change of career, or simply to learn something new, and enjoy the latest trends in beauty and holistic therapies.

Bella Goode trained as a makeup artist after leaving school, then changed career and became a financial adviser. Later on, Bella followed her passion for the makeup industry and decided to study Level 2 and Level 3 Beauty Therapy as a mature student.  This gave her an insight into the types of training methods available and a desire to teach and share her knowledge with others.

“I wanted to be able to offer one-to-one, as well as small group training in a relaxed, friendly environment,” says Bella. “Sharing my experience of the beauty industry encourages the students and helps them develop confidence and expertise, whether they wish to further their beauty career, change direction or just learn something new for their own self-development.”

Beauty School Hereford offers courses in Beauty, Holistic Therapy and Nail Training, ranging from a half day to a full 12 week part time Level 2 course.  Day courses include:

  • Facials
  • Waxing
  • Brow & Lash Enhancements
  • Spray Tanning
  • Manicure, Pedicure and Gel Polish
  • Acrylic and Gel Enhancements
  • Swedish Massage
  • Indian Head Massage

Packages consisting of Level 2 Beauty and Level 3 Holistic therapies as a stand alone Diploma, or a full Makeup Artistry Diploma are also available.

Each course is fully accredited, which means the learner will be able to obtain relevant insurance to offer the service as a mobile therapist, or work for an employer.

Courses are always being added to keep up with the changes in industry and Bella also offers bespoke training and refresher training.

Learner Testimonials:

“After being a carer for a number of years I decided to have a change and take up a few courses in beauty therapy with Bella, I haven’t stopped since and am now starting my own business!”  Imogen Fox

“If somebody had said to me this time last year I would have my own beauty business I would of laughed! But yet here I am, after seeing Bella’s advert for a nail technician diploma, I thought, Why not?, I’ve got nothing to lose! I now have my own mobile nail technician business which is going from strength to strength. I have since done a waxing course as well, and I will definitely be adding more in the future! Bella is a fantastic teacher, so friendly and down to earth, I can’t wait to learn more with her!” Kelly Edmonds
