Credenhill Canter is a multi-terrain race covering woodland trails and country lanes. It starts at Credenhill Social Club and finishes at Credenhill Church, with a cool down back at the Social Club. The afternoon will include a family barbecue and live music at the Credenhill Social Club after the race.

Starting Times

Walkers: 1.00pm, Fun Run: 2.00pm, Main Race: 3.00pm

Route

Starting at Credenhill Social Club, the  Credenhill Canter route turns left from the car park over the railway bridge, then left onto a bridle path leading to Barnsfield and Stretton Sugwas by way of a footpath. The route then crosses the A480 and down Priory Lane. Crossing a brook by way of footpath, then following the footpath until the next turn left onto another footpath leading back to the A480. Exiting the footpath by stile, the route then takes  a sharp right turn following the A480 until it reaches Credenhill Woods, and this is where the run gets hilly. On entry to the woods via the car park it is uphill, then down and up again to the top of the woods. The next turn right takes the participants to the footpath, which circumnavigates the woods and leads to the exit of the woods downhill. The next part of the route heads straight down and out of the woods, then turns right into the Credenhill Churchyard. Following the footpath through to the field next door, it then leads to the finish line.
