Mizz Twisted Cherry have been having a lot of fun since the launch of their new studio, culminating in a fundraiser on 5th August. The event showcased what the students had learnt in various disciplines from aerial hoop to pole fitness and burlesque.

Natalie Morgan-Dew, the founder of this unique aerial and alternative dance studio, said about the fundraiser: “The evening was a great success and I would like to thank the audience as well as all those who helped with organising the event.” Funds were raised for the Puddy Foundation, a non-profit association set up by Natalie’s twin sister Natasha in memory of her late partner Pat Lamb. The foundation helps the public in England and Wales to create safer streets and communities.

The summer months at the studio were packed with regular classes and one-off workshops, including the Bring-a-boy class, which was met with a warm welcome. “I love to see our students bring their friends, family members and partners, it’s a great opportunity to see what we are up to, and have a go,” said Natalie. “Men can utilise their upper body strength, and our male clients show that aerial arts are truly for everyone!”

The studio is now ready for the new season, with some exciting classes and courses launching this September: a brand new Burlesque Course, a Junior Aerial Hoop Routine Course and an Adult Hoop Routine Course. There will also be a number of workshops in the run up to Christmas.

Gift vouchers for any of the lessons are available for a unique Christmas gift, not forgetting the carousel horse experience! And if you fancy a Christmas party with a difference this year, then why not have a party at the studio? Available in pole/aerial hoop or burlesque/divas, parties like these are great for team building and fun while you are learning some awesome skills.

“The studios are a hub of fun, confidence building and a unique way to keep fit,” sums up Natalie. So come in and say hello this autumn and give one of the classes a go!
