Hereford Centre for Natural Health  is a registered charity, and has been in existence since the 1980s – it is in fact Hereford’s longest established centre for complementary therapies. As a registered charity, we aim to make information about alternative approaches to health freely available – via our website, social media, for callers to the Centre and at outside events we attend. This enables the general public to make informed choices about their healthcare. The charity also provides a place for therapists to work from and offer their respective disciplines.

There are 19 self-employed therapists who work at the Centre, all are part-time and some run courses or practise at other venues. Some have joined us recently, creating a wider spread of therapies including Shiatsu, Heart Healing and a variety of massage techniques.

The Centre has a welcoming atmosphere with several pleasant and peaceful rooms, making it an ideal place for relaxing! We also have ample free parking in front of the Centre.

Some of the alternative treatments we offer include:

ACUPUNCTURE, which is used to promote and preserve good health by maintaining the body’s equilibrium. This state of balance is achieved by inserting fine sterile needles at particular points of the body. It helps treat several common disorders and many women use it throughout pregnancy and childbirth. One of our therapists also combines acupuncture with Tui Na Chinese massage.

MASSAGE is used by several therapists in different ways and it is dependent on the problems the client is experiencing. We can provide Sports Massage, Holistic, Indian Head Massage or simply a relaxing massage, all of which can be combined with other therapies.

Our practitioners also offer the Alexander Technique, Bowen Therapy, Bach Flower Remedies, Craniosacral Therapy, Crystal Healing, Counselling, Shiatsu, Homeopathy, Hypnotherapy, Physiotherapy, Virtual Gastric Band Therapy and Heart Field Healing.

More details about these therapies can be found on our website, together with information on the practitioners – their qualifications, experience and testimonials from patients.

All these techniques look at treating the whole person, alleviating pain and helping the client achieve balance in their lives.
