This is a glimpse into my chronic fatigue story.
By Rosemary Channin
As I sat on my bed with my arms curled around my knees, holding them close and trying to breathe deeply, I wondered if there would ever be a day when I didn’t jump out of my skin at the slightest sound. I desperately wanted to know if I’d ever be able to truly relax, or would I always be tense and waiting for the next tiny sound to slice through my every nerve?
My body was on constant high alert. I saw potential dangers in everything, and was waiting for what ‘might’ be about to happen. These are signs of an over-active nervous system, which is very common in chronic fatigue patients. Thanks to Chrysalis Effect step-by-step programme I am now fully recovered, and I successfully teach my clients my strategies and techniques to calm their nervous system, allowing their bodies to heal.
