Judith Davies On REFLEXOLOGY

Posted · Add Comment

Reflexology is a non-intrusive complementary health therapy developed from the ancient knowledge that the body is reflected in miniature in the feet, hands and other areas. A gentle pressure applied to these areas can promote deep relaxation, pain relief and a great many health benefits, mentally and physically.

Among other benefits of reflexology is the management of stress, anxiety and insomnia, with patients reporting an improvement in vitality and wellbeing over a course of a treatment.

Reflex therapy is ideal for those seeking relief from the symptoms associated with a wide variety of conditions, including:
– acute and chronic back and neck pain
– bladder, bowel and digestive disorders
– chronic fatigue
– depression and mental health problems
– men’s health
– migraines and headaches
– palliative care
– respiratory conditions
– women’s health, including pregnancy.

At the beginning of a treatment each new client has a medical history taken, in full confidentiality, before a tailor-made treatment programme is designed.

Judith Davies is a former nurse and midwife, fully qualified in Reflexology training for healthcare professionals, (The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Reflex Therapy). Please get in touch for more information.
