Qualified Sleep Practitioner and former NHS Nurse Prescriber Joanna Kippax founded her business to help those with insomnia and other sleep problems. Find out more about how you can sleep better, feel great and protect your health too.
We spend a third of our lives asleep, but rarely see it as a priority. Yet a good night’s sleep is crucial to our health and wellbeing, and if you have experienced insomnia or disturbed sleep, you will be only too familiar with the consequences of sleep deprivation. From cravings and weight gain, to increased susceptibility to colds and flu, a lack of sleep makes us feel low, anxious and depressed, and unable to function properly.
Good sleep is the foundation of good health and contributes to reducing your risk of cancer, obesity, heart disease, diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease and many other serious health conditions. With a little dedication and effort, a good night’s sleep is within everyone’s reach. Imagine waking up feeling refreshed and full of energy, with a clear mind, fast and efficient memory, looking great and feeling ready to be at your best for the day ahead!
Rather than just ‘top up your battery’, learn how to recharge yourself fully!
WyeSleep is a bespoke sleep service for those who struggle with insomnia or disturbed sleep. Clients of all ages are taught how to maximise their sleep opportunity, improving their health, performance and emotional wellbeing. An individualised treatment plan is agreed with the client and treatment usually takes approximately 5 to 6 sessions to take effect. Just as with physical exercise, results are seen more quickly with regular practice.
In addition to one-to-one work with individuals, WyeSleep also runs workshops for groups on a wide range of topics including Sleep For Performance; Sleep And The Menopause, and Sleep For Weight Loss.
Don’t miss out on feeling your best in 2019! Learn how to sleep better, feel great and protect your health.

Tips for good sleep hygiene:
• Make sure your bedroom is dark and quiet, temperature not too high or too low, and your bed is comfortable.
• Avoid alcohol, smoking and caffeine, as well as large meals before bedtime.
• Try to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day, even at weekends.
• Synchronise your body clock by spending some time outdoors early in the day, ideally being active, but avoid heavy, intense exercise in the evening.
• Create a relaxing bedtime routine.
• Avoid blue light emitted from screens such as your phone, laptop and TV before going to bed.
